The machine has been developed and priced to eliminate the manual labor often associated with this function. The HTR will typically be placed just after the portion cutting machine.

HTR HEAD & TAILPIECE REMOVER

The HTR is a unique machine in respect of function and design. It was developed in collaboration with customers in order to avoid manual removal of the first and last piece of a portion-cut salmon. The machine is very small and compact, and it fits into any modern production line. It adds value in respect of automation and has a variety of interesting features.

The HTR uses acceleration to create a gap between each portion. Each portion is laser scanned and once the machine has determined which portion comes first and last, these two portions are removed from the conveyor in 2 different assortments. Further, this machine can switch into hibernation mode and function as an ordinary conveyor.
